Every year the Glendale Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 12 hosts an annual Shop with a Glendale Cop Event.  Local low-income families from Glendale are selected by their schools and local Community Action teams to take part in this one night event.

This year 50 children were selected.  They were treated to dinner at Submarinos and then a shopping adventure as they had the opportunity to shop for themselves and others at a local Target retail location.  Santa was also there to great children and take photographs.  Over 60 Glendale employees including officers and civilian staff volunteered their time to take part in the event.

Over $5,500 was raised.  Funds were donated by Target, The Anthony Holly Foundation, The Arizona College of Allied Health, Glendale Police Department and private donors.  Submarinos also donated half of the food served
