Charities

Glendale Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 12 Charities is dedicated to financially supporting Glendale Police Officers and their families during times of crisis, hardship, and need. The Charity also provides financial assistance to families who experience the loss of a fallen officer or the passing of a retired officer, helping ensure that those who have dedicated their lives to serving the community, and their families, are not forgotten.

The Charity promotes the physical, emotional, and professional well-being of Glendale Police Officers through funding officer wellness activities, social gatherings, recognition programs, and other efforts that promote positive morale and camaraderie. The Charity recognizes the importance of officer mental health and wellness and works with community organizations and other resources to help address the needs of officers and their families throughout their professional and personal lives.

The Charity provides equipment, safety resources, wellness-related items, and goods to address identified needs, enhance officer safety and readiness, and provide meaningful support to police officers.  It also provides financial support and fundraising opportunities for officers who participate in charitable or community service activities and officer memorial events, helping strengthen positive relationships between law enforcement and the communities they serve.

The Charity maintains a physical lodge that provides a safe and supportive gathering place for officers and their families and hosts community events, training, meetings, wellness activities, and other programs that foster connection and fellowship.

By working closely with the Glendale Police Department, the Charity identifies emerging needs and directs charitable resources where they can have the greatest impact. Through these efforts, the Charity promotes a culture of service, wellness, safety, camaraderie, and meaningful partnership among officers, their families, and the community.
